D.J. Bulls became the Preaching Minister at the Gilmer Church of Christ. His family has lived and served churches in Arlington, TX; Atlanta, GA; and Lewisville, TX where he has served churches large and small as Music, Worship, & Communications Minister. He has also served as a choral director, junior high & senior high teacher, and a professional conductor. He has been in ministry since 2003 and has led worship, consulted with, and written/arranged music for churches across the US. He has degrees from Abilene Christian University, University of Texas at Arlington, and is finishing up his Ph. D. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Worship & Church Music with a research focus in Restoration Movement Musical History and Hymnology.
