SPECIAL TOPIC: BAKING BREAD
- Flat stone
- build fire on stone
- remove coals
- place dough on hot stone and replace ashes
- when done remove ashes, Isa. 44:19; 1 Kgs. 19:6
- Bake on griddle

Bread was made of wheat (more expensive) or barley (cheaper, eaten by the poor).
