- building up
- weak brothers, Rom. 15:1
- neighbors, Rom. 15:2
- one another, Eph. 4:29; 1 Thess. 5:11
- the saints for ministry, Eph. 4:11
- we build up or edify by
- love, 1 Cor. 8:1; Eph. 4:16
- limiting personal freedoms, 1 Cor. 10:23-24
- avoiding speculations, 1 Tim. 1:4
- limiting speakers in worship services (singers, teachers,
prophets, tongue speakers, and interpreters), 1 Cor. 14:3-4,12
- all things should edify
- Paul's authority, 2 Cor. 10:8; 12:19; 13:10
