SPECIAL TOPIC: REFUGE (OT)
"Refuge" (BDB 340, KB 337) is used of taking shelter from a storm but is often used
as imagery for shelter from evil people.

34:8,22; 37:40; 57:1; 61:4; 64:10; 71:1; 118:8,9; 141:8; 144:2
- the NOUN is used of God in Ps. 14:6; 46:1; 61:3; 62:7,8; 71:7; 73:28; 91:2,9; 94:22; 142:5
The imagery of protection, in all its variety, is seen in Psalm 18:1-2!
The VERB form of "refuge" (BDB 340) denotes placing confidence
and trust in something or someone. It is often used of taking refuge in YHWH.
